Students design a poster of any of the economic concepts included in the Virginia SOLs.  8 state winners receive a Virginia529 inVEST (inVEST) account with initial balance of $100. Made possible by Virginia529 College Savings Plan, a 529 plan is a tax-advantaged investment plan designed to encourage saving for future qualified higher education expenses.  Winning art work will be posted on VCEE’s website.

To qualify, postmark student entries by May 1, 2016

Possible topics include:  
barter; consumers/producers; choices/decision-making; credit; entrepreneurs; goods/services; interdependence; jobs; money/savings; opportunity cost; products and industries of Virginia; resources: human, natural and capital; scarcity; specialization; trade; and wants.

Entries must be students’ original work and in compliance with all rules on entry form.
