The Virginia Economic Educator Awards recognize educators from around Virginia who have demonstrated excellence, creativity and innovation in teaching economics and personal finance.

Outstanding Economic Educator Award Submission

The Outstanding Economic Educator Awards honors teachers of any subject who use exemplary teaching techniques that improve their student’ understanding of economics, in and out of the classroom.

These awards honor innovative and engaging approaches to teaching entrepreneurship, economics, or personal finance at the K-12 level. Winners are to be honored both by their regional Centers for Economic Education as well as by the Virginia Council on Economic Education.
