Congratulations to the 2009 Economic Educator Award Winners!

Recognized for his sustained commitment to economic education, Vincent Reese from Osbourn Park High School in Prince William County was honored as Virginia’s 2009 Outstanding Economic Educator of the Year on December 4, 2009, receiving a check for $1,000.

HSBC Institute on the Environment and the Economy

In collaboration with the Foundation for Teaching Economics, VCEE and the VCU Center for Economic Education will offer this three-day residential program designed to integrate classroom discussion involving market solutions and environmental issues at the Tides Inn in Irvington, Virginia from April 17-19.
