Learn about the state-wide family reading event, Virginia Reads One Book, that takes place beginning February 5th. With the active support of sponsors like the Washington Redskins Community Foundation, the Virginia Bankers Association Education Foundation, and the Virginia Council on Economic Education, thousands of Virginia students, families, and school communities will read The Lemonade War and celebrate both family and financial literacy.

The Lemonade War is a story that all elementary students should enjoy. This workshop will cover some K-1, 2-3 and 3-5 lessons and activities teachers can use to introduce or re-enforce economic and financial concepts in this engaging story.
