Everyone enjoys the kids’ TV show Bluey because it reflects our own lives so vividly. In this free, one-hour webinar, we share ways to teach economics and personal finance using Bluey. We provide links to video clips from Bluey that we align with discussion questions and standards. We also include a classroom-tested active-learning lesson plan about the episode entitled “Markets.”
Have you ever thought about running a mini-economy at home? Kids can learn so much from having a household job, earning play money, saving, and making choices about what to buy at the house store, and even starting a business. In this online session, we get an overview from one educator who is running a successful at-home economy with his four young kids.
