2019 Governor’s Challenge Agenda

Agenda Overview:
9:00am to 9:30am – Registration – Town Center
Check in at Capital One security and proceed to the Challenge registration on the 2nd floor at the top of the stairs. Morning refreshments served.
9:30am to 11:25am – Personal Finance Challenge
Students gather in the Forum Room. Presentations will be in rooms 23B and 23D.
Teams make their presentations to a panel of judges
9:30am to 11:20am – David Ricardo Challenge
Located in rooms 21C/D
Round 1 – Each team member answers 15 micro questions and 15 macro questions – team score determined by the top three scores
Round 2 – 15 international and current event questions. Team members confer and provide a single answer.
9:30am to 11:20am – Adam Smith Challenge
Located in room 22A/B
Same format as David Ricardo
11:30am to 12:20pm – David Ricardo Division: Online regional winners recognized and Championship Round and Awards.

Top two highest scoring teams face off in a quiz bowl. Quiz Bowl rules here.
12:20pm to 12:50pm – Lunch provided
Students: Food in The Gallery/registration area. Seating for:
Adam Smith & Personal Finance Group #1 students in 22A/B;
David Ricardo & Personal Finance Group #2 students in 21C/D
Teachers and adult guests have lunch in the Forum Room in 24A

12:55pm to 1:40pm – Personal Finance Division: Recognize Regional Winners and Championship Round
Presentation by top two teams selected from presentations in the morning.
1:40pm to 2:30pm – Adam Smith Division: Recognize Regional Winners and Championship Round and Awards
Same format as David Ricardo.
Presentation of Personal Finance Awards
2:30pm – Adjourn
