This program covers Modules 3 & 4 of the Certified Middle School Economics Educator program, part of an 8-module program designed to provide professional development for Civics & Economics teachers that will equip them with both a stronger foundation in economics, and resources to enable teaching the economics objectives in an engaging and relevant way. The workshop will include both direct instruction and modeling of hands-on, out-of-the-seat classroom activities.
Teachers need not have attended Modules 1 & 2 to participate in this workshop. High school as well as middle school teachers will benefit, and are welcome to take part.
Participants will receive the curriculum, Focus: Middle School Economics, containing 17 interactive lessons focused on the social studies needed to help students become effective citizens.
Fee: NO CHARGE, however $0.00 refundable fee required
