Want to learn about economics while visiting Arthur the Camel? This in-person workshop will focus on economic concepts using children’s literature and activities to get you started.

Join us in-person on the farm at The Barn at Mill Creek where we will dig into the elementary economic concepts of scarcity, specialization, and productive resources.  Together we will discover how agriculture is the foundation for these economic concepts. Enjoy a hotdog picnic with your colleagues following the workshop. We also invite you to take some time to visit the animals on the farm, including Arthur the Camel. We will be providing childcare for children Pre-K through 5th grade.


Fee: NO CHARGE


Additional Information:

The workshop will be in person and run from 4:30-5:30pm. We will have time to eat and visit the animals following the workshop.
