Economics in Ancient Civilizations

This session will focus on engaging lessons that make economic connections with the ancient civilizations of China, Egypt, Greece, Rome, and Mali. Teachers will be equipped with resources to teach the 3rd grade SOLs related to resources used to produce goods and services; specialization and trade; and economic choices which result in an opportunity cost.
