Historical questions often center on questions of agency, that is, who or what drives the events of history. Yet history teaching materials rarely make issues of agency explicit. This session will use History/Social Science SOL 1.h (“use decision-making models”) to help teachers in this area. Includes several concrete, practical examples of using decision-making models, and gives teachers time for practice and interaction.
