Performance Assessments in Career and Technical Education

Stephen Day presented at Richmond Public Schools (RPS) in-service training. He was invited by RPS CTE specialist Rhonda Turner. The session was an introduction to what performance assessments (PAs) are, why they are important, and the basics of how to create them. It also modeled a PA in economics could look like, and gave teachers the opportunity to begin creating one of their own in subject-area groups.
