Virginia teachers know how to teach personal finance. The ideas are out there; now it’s time to highlight and share some of the best.

This in-person forum will feature short demonstrations of lessons, activities or simulations by teachers, round-table sessions to work on classroom implementation, and networking time for collaboration.

We would love for YOU to be a presenter! Lesson demonstrations will be short (10-25 minutes), followed by roundtable sessions in which participants discuss how to implement and extend the lessons. Please fill out this form by Monday, March 21 if you would like to apply to present. The lesson may or may not be original to you – we want to assemble the very best that’s out there. Those who are selected to present will receive a $75 travel stipend!

If you do not wish to present, you are welcome simply to attend and get great lesson plans!  Here is an agenda from a previous Teacher Forum so you have an idea of what to expect. Please register to attend below. If you are also interested in presenting, you will need to fill out the form in the link provided above. You can register now and fill out the form later if you wish.

Fee: NO CHARGE
