Today’s entrepreneurial economy offers students unique opportunities to improve the lives of marginalized groups of citizens through social entrepreneurship and to achieve their own economic success through intrapreneurship. This session will connect the dots between developing entrepreneurial skills needed as students and employees—e.g., skills in opportunity recognition, problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, collaboration, creativity, and innovation—and citizenship skills needed to become change agents. Participants will receive performance-based activities that easily integrate entrepreneurship knowledge and skills across social studies grades and subjects in a way that enhances student engagement and culturally-relevant, real-world learning.
Fee: NO CHARGE
