This day-long virtual conference is for social studies teachers who want to integrate economics into their history, civics, and geography classes. The session shows how economics can use inquiry, primary sources, and social issues to meet the civics goals of social studies, while adding economic rigor.

This is part of a day-long virtual “bootcamp” from the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City.

This session is for social studies teachers who want to integrate economics into their history, civics, and geography classes. The session shows how economics can use inquiry, primary sources, and social issues to meet the civics goals of social studies, while adding economic rigor. Dr. Day presents “Is Efficiency Ethical?” and “Should I Join the Sweatshop Boycott?” lessons as a guest presenter in this session.
