Let’s uncover the truth about the Great Depression by way of Key West and Beans Curry. “Beans,” the opportunistic main character in Full of Beans by Jennifer L. Holm gives his account of living through the Great Depression and the recovery influenced by the New Deal. Topics discussed include: ethical decision making, cost, benefits, productive resources, jobs, spending, saving, and giving.
