Will our world run dry? The combined effects of growing populations, rising incomes, and expanding cities will likely see demand for water rising exponentially, while supply becomes more unstable and uncertain. Water is a natural resource in which everyone should have access, but its supply, quality, and environmental balance require infrastructures and technology, which generate a cost that has to be paid. In this workshop, educators will learn how economically important the price of water is. Educators will also receive relatable links, articles, book titles, and STEM related activities based on the dilemma of water scarcity.
