This workshop is for teachers who wish to bring their classes to Market Day, and for anyone who wants to learn how to teach using a classroom mini-economy.

In a mini-economy, students have class jobs, get paid in play money, save for their spending goals, shop in the classroom store, and make their own classroom businesses. It’s a great opportunity to teach SOL content using real-world lessons that last.

In this online session, teachers will learn about new mini-economy curriculum so they can teach math, reading, and more in their classes as they build their classroom economies.

The session also qualifies participants to bring their classes to Market Day. So join us!

The Mini-Economy program is made possible through the generous partnership of Virginia Credit Union.
