Stock Market Game Dates for 2023-2024

FALL GAME: 9/25/23 – 12/15/23

  • 9/25/2023 – Trading opens.
  • 10/13/2023 – Registration for Fall game closes. Invoices will be mailed to schools/central offices.
  • 10/31/2023 – Last day to add or delete Fall teams. (After this date, advisors are responsible for the fees for all registered teams whether they trade or not.)
  • 11/3/2023 – All Fall teams must trade by this date in order to be eligible for end-of-competition awards
  • 12/1/2023 –  All Fall team fees must be paid by this date in order for teams to be eligible for end-of-competition awards. 
  • 12/15/2023 – END OF FALL TRADING. Award winners will be determined by updated portfolio values (of eligible teams) at close of business on 12/15.

YEAR GAME: 9/25/2023 – 5/31/2024

  • 10/27/2023 – Registration for Year game closes. Invoices will be mailed to schools/central offices.
  • 12/1/2023 – Last day to add or delete Year teams. (After this date, advisors are responsible for the fees for all registered teams whether they trade or not.)
  • 12/15/2023 – All Year teams must trade by this date in order to be eligible for end-of-competition awards
  • 1/31/2024 –  All Year team fees must be paid by this date in order for teams to be eligible for end-of-competition awards. 
  • 4/19/2024 – END OF YEAR-LONG COMPETITION. TEAMS MAY CONTINUE TO TRADE UNTIL 5/31/2024. Award winners will be determined by updated portfolio values (of eligible teams) at close of business on 4/19/24.

SPRING GAME: 2/5/2024 – 5/31/2024

  • 2/5/2024 –  Trading opens.
  • 2/23/2024 –  Registration for Spring game closes. Invoices will be mailed to schools/central offices.
  • 3/8/2024 –  Last day to add or delete Spring teams. (After this date, advisors are responsible for the fees for all registered teams whether they trade or not.)
  • 3/15/2024 –  All Spring teams must trade by this date in order to be eligible for end-of-competition awards
  • 4/5/2024 – All Spring team fees must be paid by this date in order for teams to be eligible for end-of-competition awards. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  • 4/19/2024 – END OF SPRING COMPETITION. TEAMS MAY CONTINUE TO TRADE UNTIL 5/31/2024. Award winners will be determined by updated portfolio values (of eligible teams) at close of business on 4/19/24.
