Social Studies Methods class at Longwood University

Dr. Day taught Dr. Evan Long’s social studies methods course on November 3, 2021. The students (pre-service teachers) were seniors in the school of education, are slated to begin student teaching in the spring semester, and will potentially be teaching in K-6 classrooms by this time in 2022.

Dr. Day taught Dr. Evan Long’s social studies methods course on November 3, 2021. The students (pre-service teachers) were seniors in the school of education, are slated to begin student teaching in the spring semester, and will potentially be teaching in K-6 classrooms by this time in 2022.

The content focused on interpreting the K-3 economics SOLs, the basics of economic thinking, and how to access economics curriculum.
