Get all the content you need to teach a full semester of economics. You can complete this institute with two days of in-person attendance and two weeks of asynchronous online work. The institute will run online from June 10-21 and in-person at Virginia Credit Union in Chesterfield on June 12 and 13.
The institute will cover the standards and pacing for the Economics and Personal Finance course, though teachers of other classes (such as Principles of Business) will find it relevant, too. Content will cover macroeconomics, microeconomics, personal decision-making, public policy, and even ethics.
When we meet in person, you’ll get delicious food and fun lesson resources. You’ll make new teacher contacts and take part in active-learning lesson activities.
All attendees will get a free copy of the Virtual Economics 5.0 lesson plan library, and the chance to become a VCEE Certified Economic Educator.
Fee: NO CHARGE
Additional Information:
If the number of registrants is significantly lower than we hope, we will truncate the institute rather than canceling it. In this case, we'd cut the hours to one in-person day and 10 online hours.
