Workshop Description

Conference presentations: Ethics, Economics, & Social Issues at APEE

This is a new FREE curriculum being introduced on EconEdLink in February! It focuses on normative and social issues in economics. It includes lesson plans such as “Is Efficiency Ethical?” and “What Can We Do About Pollution?” and “Should I Join the Sweatshop Boycott?” The lessons seek to add a deeper dimension to economic analysis and moral reasoning.

This was a series of sessions I did at the Associate of Private Enterprise Education meeting. The attendees were generally higher education professors. As such, they do teach a number of low-income students, but I was not able to record this or list it as “Title 1.”
