Blurb: “Why Can’t I Always Get What I Want? Using Inquiry to Teach Elementary Economics.” Kids will learn that economics is everywhere! In this session, teachers will take part in a lesson activity where they use decision-making models to help their students think about life’s common conundrums. They will also do an activity for grades 4-5 in which they use an online tool to compare the prices of household goods around the world. Lesson plans included. They will also learn about other fun teacher tools for K-5.
