The Personal Finance Teacher Forum is an opportunity to network, share, and get access to up-to-date, ready-made lesson plans. And if you’re willing, it’s a chance for you to share your best material with other teachers.

Virginia teachers know how to teach personal finance. The ideas are out there; now it’s time to highlight and share some of the best. This in-person forum will feature short demonstrations of lessons, activities or simulations by teachers, round-table sessions to work on classroom implementation, and networking time for collaboration. Here is an agenda from a previous Teacher Forum so you have an idea of what to expect. Please register to attend below. All lessons will be made available to participants via a shared Google folder.

We still need presenters! All presenters will get a $150 stipend. Submit an idea here. It’s a quick and easy form.

This workshop is co-hosted by the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Lunch is included. Please alert Kevin (contact info below) if you have dietary requirements.

Parking, lessons, and food are free! Six contact hours for recertification credit are available, too.

Fee: NO CHARGE

Instructor: Your colleagues! Virginia teachers share their best stuff.
