This program is an excellent way to encourage reading and reinforce the K-5 economic strand in the new History and Social Science Standards of Learning, as well as promote saving. Featuring Lemonade in Winter, My Rows and Piles of Coins, and Rock, Brock and the Savings Shock, teachers and librarians are provided engaging and meaningful lessons to help their students develop and be able to apply good decision-making skills.
