In its second year this program encourages your students to learn about money, making choices, and saving through literature. Sponsored by VA529 and the Virginia Council on Economic Education, it features the opportunity to earn three free books, reward students for reading, and award the school with the highest participation rate in their VAASL region with $500 worth of financial literacy books for their library.

Using the featured books, this interactive session will review hands-on lessons covering saving, decision-making, opportunity costs and investing in your human capital (a person’s specific knowledge and skills) as well as other K-3 concepts.
