The Stock Market Game™ is an online simulation of the global capital markets that engages students grades 4-12 in the world of economics, investing, and personal finance. Students work in teams of 2 – 4 to perform research and evaluate trends in order to manage their $100,000 portfolio. Since its inception, The Stock Market Game™ has prepared nearly 20 million students for financially independent futures.

IMPORTANT SPRING GAME KEY DATES: 2/6/2023 – 6/2/2023
2/6/2023 – Trading opens.
2/17/2023 – Registration for Spring game closes.
3/3/2023 – Last day to add or delete Spring teams.
3/10/2023 – All Spring teams must trade by this date in order to be eligible for end-of-competition awards
4/21/2023 – END OF COMPETITION. TEAMS MAY CONTINUE TO TRADE UNTIL 6/3/2023.

ENHANCE THE GAME:

  • InvestWrite® is a culminating activity exclusively for students competing in The Stock Market Game™ that extends students’ classroom learning with a written challenge to address real-world financial issues and situations. Students must analyze, think critically and problem solve about a long-term saving and investing scenario.
  • Invest It Forward® connects educators and classrooms with financial industry professionals and firms. Teachers can request face-to-face or virtual meetings with financial professionals for their classrooms.
