Meet our Vice President of Resource Development, Jennie Romero.
As vice president of resource development, Jennie oversees a strategy that brings in about $1 million annually. “I just raise the money so our network of instructors can do what they need to do.”What they’re doing is advancing teachers’ human capital through professional development and empowering young Virginians to build financially confident habits. Jennie makes a monthly donation to VCEE’s S. Buford Scott Endowment for Economic Education in Virginia. “I learned the hard way – through costly mistakes and spending too much time dealing with problems related to personal finances. If I can lessen that burden for others, it’s worth it.”
